Stainless Rigid Flue Reducer 110x50mm

Engineered for reliability in UK domestic heating installations, this stainless steel flue reducer transitions rigid pipe from 110mm to 50mm diameter with precision tolerances and consistent wall integrity. The material exhibits excellent resistance to thermal fatigue and flue gas corrosion, particularly important in condensing or low-flue-temperature applications where acidic residues accumulate. No coatings or plating — pure stainless construction ensures long-term performance without delamination or flaking. It functions wherever a change in rigid pipe diameter is required: connecting stoves, boilers, or cookers to smaller-diameter flue liners; adapting into compact termination kits; or upgrading legacy chimneys during relining. Compatible with both insulated and non-insulated rigid systems, and appropriate for use with galvanized round ducting in HVAC and mechanical ventilation setups. Sealing must be performed using only high-temperature stove pipe cement, applied after mechanical cleaning of contact surfaces. Avoid overtightening clamps — stainless steel’s yield strength differs from galvanized steel, so torque settings should follow manufacturer guidance for rigid pipe assemblies.
