Breaks or faults in the fiber will refract the light, creating a bright glow around the faulty area. The fiber optic tester is ideal for field tests with features including constant output power, multi-interface adaptation, low battery warning, long battery life, and long-distance detection. Powered by a standard AA battery. Features a 2.5mm universal connector compatible with ST, SC, FC, and LC interfaces for both round and square fiber optic cables. The 30mW visual fault locator delivers strong output power, with a visible red light detectable up to 20-30 kilometers. High-efficiency power supply circuit ensures stable performance. Designed with a stainless steel tip and aluminum body for durability against impact and dust. Case ground design helps protect against ESD damage. Requires two 1.5V AA batteries (not included).
