Use the diffuser by placing it level with the front of the lens and exposing through it. Try using it and see the difference. A flash with our diffuser installed and tilted 45 degrees provides a nice soft wrap around the light with a soft shadow behind the subject. It spreads the light over a wider area for a softer, more balanced, and natural effect than you didn't use before. This fits neatly over the head of your existing flash, no need for bulky attachments, hooks. The light passing through the diffuser and on to the film creates an even density across the film surface. Flash straight on without our diffuser causes the light to only go forward and creates a harsh shadow behind the subject.
