Burnish your leather with this quality FLINT leather burnishing block, made from solid ebony, this tool is perfect for large pieces of leather. This block burnisher will help you smooth out the creases in your leather project, compress unsightly fibres and give the flesh side of your leather a brilliant burnished sheen.To use this Craft Sha FLINT Leathercraft Burnisher Leather Burnishing Block Ebony Slicker, simply apply your favourite burnishing gum evenly and generously across the flesh side of your leather (Craft Sha burnishing gum is recommended). Once this is complete, grip the handle of your burnishing block and firmly press the large face down onto the treated flesh side of your leather in a firm, consistent movement, ensuring all fibres are evenly and firmly compressed. For narrower areas, the side of the burnishing block should be used.Fine shaped and conical shaped FLINT burnishing tools are available separately.All FLINT tools are made to the highest quality and brought to market by Craft Sha of Japan.
