BROCCOLI Autumn Calabrese \nBroccoli also known as Calabrese has lots of shoots instead of one big flowerhead. \nA very versatile vegetable that can be used steamed, boiled or in stir-fry dishes throughout the late summer and early autumn. \nQuick growing, tasty and very productive, Autumn Calabrese yields heavy crops of delicately flavoured green spears. \nSoil must be kept moist but be careful not to over-water. \nAutumn Calabrese is ideal for successional sowing from late March to July. \nA useful but much underrated vegetable. \nLike other members of the brassica family Autumn Calabrese will produce a poor crop if the soil is poor, infertile or loose. \nIdeally the ground should be firm and rich in organic matter, it should be dug in autumn with plenty of well-rotted farm yard manure or compost worked in if necessary. \nBroccoli Autumn Calabrese if ideal for freezing. \nDetailed growing instructions are on the back of each packet. \nPacket contains: 175 seeds approx. \nIMMEDIATE \n \nDesign and colouring of packets may occasionally vary. \nWe want you to be happy with your purchase and all our Broccoli seed is checked and inspected visually before packing. .
