Unlike the peck type waterers that get damage, this model will last for a long time since it no longer has a nipple or valve part that can be pull-out over a period of usage. It's simple to clean, the water control valve is inside, there is no blockage in the bowl, making it easier to clean. PVC Tee fittings with 1/8" threads is included and can be used with low-pressure 1/2" PVC pipe.
