MPPS supports a range of controllers including M3.8, M5.9, ME7xx, MED9, MED17, EDC15/16/17, Delco, Trionic, and many others. Automatically detects ECU and processor type—no manual selection required. Full auto-detection ensures ease of use. Features include read/write access to all memory types such as EEPROM, IROM, XROM (where supported), and patch functionality for OBD flashing of TPROT ECUs (currently limited support). Includes TPROT/check feature to test if TPROT is active without opening the ECU. Supports TP12 and ECUs without password protection. Provides unlocking support for Simos and Simos 8 ECUs. Checksum correction is supported for MEDC17. The MPPS is a powerful programming tool offering standard read/write operations and checksum support, along with advanced capabilities: - Excellent recovery functions—capable of restoring communication with ECUs that other tools cannot access, even in cases of blank memory (no program present) on certain controllers. - Selectable full or partial read/write operations (when supported by the ECU). - Adjustable read/write speed settings. - "Write changes only" function for faster programming (ECU-dependent). - Automatic detection of K-Line/CAN communication protocols, with option to force preferred communication method. - Temporary immobilizer bypass for bench flashing on ME7 systems. - Boot mode support for ECUs with C167 and ST10 processors. - EEPROM read/write functions for select ECUs. - MEDC17 TPROT level checking without ECU disassembly.
