This motorless filter can, for example, be used as a pre-filter in case of turbidity, as a quick filter in case of poisoning or as a biofilter to increase the filtration capacity of small external filters. The filter can be connected to a pump or an external filter using sera 16/22 mm hoses. It is also possible to connect several PrefiX filters in series. When using fine-grained filter media, it is recommended to use bags for sera filter media bags 1 or 2.
