Introduction: CAN-BUS is a widely used industrial communication bus known for its long transmission distance, medium data rate, and high reliability. It is commonly used in modern machinery and automotive diagnostic systems. This CAN-BUS Shield features the MCP2515 CAN controller with SPI interface and the MCP2551 CAN transceiver, enabling CAN-BUS functionality for Arduino and Seeeduino boards. When paired with an OBD-II converter cable and compatible OBD-II library, it supports development of onboard diagnostic tools or vehicle data loggers.
