Description

This electrical converter is designed to adapt a 4-pin vehicle plug to a 7-pin European plug. A dust cover is included on the 7-pin Euro trailer side to keep the connector clean when not in use. The plug-and-play design helps minimize the need for additional wiring or adapters inside the vehicle. It enables connection between 4-way American flat trailer connectors and European 7-way trailer wiring systems. The converter features the ability to separate the "stop" signal from American vehicles equipped with a 2-wire system. Installation guide: a) Before connecting the converter to the vehicle, ensure all vehicle signals are turned off. b) Connect one end of the converter to the existing 4-way US flat connector on the vehicle. c) Insert the 7-pin EU trailer plug into the converter. d) Verify that all connections are secure. e) No maintenance is required for the adapter during normal use.
