20A Adjustable Step-Down Power Module

This high-efficiency buck converter operates from 6V to 40V DC input (10–40V recommended) and provides continuously adjustable output from 1.2V to 36V DC, with a maximum output current of 20A (15A suggested for long-term stability). Its compact 60 × 53 × 27 mm form factor houses dual 75V/80A MOSFETs, high-frequency low-resistance electrolytic capacitors on both input and output, and two integrated aluminium heat sinks for effective thermal dissipation. Efficiency reaches 95% under typical 24V-to-12V conversion at 20A load. Output ripple remains below 50mV, ensuring clean power for sensitive electronics. Connection is made via large 30A-rated screw terminals. The module supports constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes, controlled independently via front-panel potentiometers. An EN pin allows external logic-level enable/disable control. Short-circuit protection is self-recovering, though extended shorting must be avoided. Input and output share common ground in standard configuration.
