Description

1. The -048 antenna is a printed LDPA. Optimized design techniques reduce its size and improve usability with ULTRA. Using new technology, it covers the ultra-wide range of 400 MHz to 8 GHz in a compact 27 x 23 cm form, with some loss of low-frequency directionality. 2. The -048 can be used for radio direction finding in the 1 GHz to 8.5 GHz range without requirements. It provides decent direction-sensing sensitivity when held single-handedly and tends to rotate with the body. 3. The antenna input resistance is rated at 50 Ω, and return loss varies when connected to a 50 Ω source. In most frequency bands above 1 GHz, the return loss is about 10 dB or less, and the VSWR is about 2. In the 400 MHz to 1 GHz band, the return loss is about 4.5 dB or less, and the VSWR is about 4. The VSWR increases at frequencies below 400 MHz.
